The western districts of Minhang and Gubei are the stronghold of expat families, delicious Korean barbecues, Japanese food...and well, not much else. On the random occasion French concession devotees and Pudong-ites come out in this direction they usually just get stuck at the Hongmei Entertainment Street. There's a few good deals there but if that's your only hangout on the west side, you're missing out on the hands down best salad and soup bar in the city. [ more › ]
